As reported by TheStar.com today some companies has alerted the Ministry of Human Resource (MoHR) that they are set to retrench their workforce early nextyear. Human Resource Secretary General Datuk Thomas George said the Ministry had been informed of significant lay-offs within next six months.
He expects the number of lay-offs to be 30,000 this time [...]
I watched the TV3 Buletin Pagi 7.30 am today. Our PM said that our economy is OK. He also quoted the First Phase of ther Iskandar Develepment Region plan is on track with 86% or RM42Bil FDI already materialised.
