I was really jolted by the answer given by MPS President as reported in thestar.com.my on the new Rawang bus terminal. Instead of providing alternative solution/s to ease the current situation he prefers to say something that shows his ignorance on the cause of the issue.

It was a ridiculous answer since the terminal was planned for opening a year ago as reported. Don’t tell me that after a year there is still no solution or at least an alternative to the problem. Again the rakyat is taken for a ride.

Read his comment below (in red) which I quoted from thestar.com.my and judge for yourself.

The building has six bus parking bays but none are used by the bus operators and only small businesses have occupied the bus terminal selling titbits, drinks and clothes.

When interviewed, MPS president Datuk Zainal Abidin Azim said that he was also not sure what to do about the situation.

“The developer was more interested in building shops for businesses instead of worrying about how the buses and taxis would be able to cope with the high traffic volume.

“The developer also did not think about how it would affect commuters.

“This is the reason that buses had to park along the road instead of inside the terminal,” he said.

Toyota to replace gas pedals on 4 million vehicles

WASHINGTON (AP): Toyota plans to replace the gas pedals on 4 million vehicles in the United States because the pedals can get stuck in the floor mats and cause sudden acceleration, a flaw that led to the sixth-largest recall ever in the U.S.

The repairs are a critical step to restoring the reputation of the world’s biggest automaker, which suffered a blow when the recall was announced in September after years of making safe, reliable cars and trucks.

Ahhh… the always Malaysia Boleh slogan and now 1Malaysia just rhetoric without substance … purely sh**!

Extract from thestar.com.my:

Dad: I thought it was just flu

MALACCA: Ramli Abdul Aziz thought his daughter was suffering from the common flu, especially since she had caught it from her brother who had recovered from a bout of flu.

Yesterday, the 45-year-old was still in grief and shock after the death of his daughter.

She was the country’s fourth A (H1N1) fatality.

“I thought that she had a normal flu and did not think that it would lead to her death.

“If I had known that her illness was this serious, maybe there would still have been a chance for her to live after treatment,” he said of Nur Syazwana Ramli, 20, who passed away on Tuesday <Continue reading>

I don’t know whether this particular news is a sad one or funny. Just image if your wife request that you divore her just because you always wanted your house to be clean and tidy. I copy and paste the news from metro.co.uk verbatim.

“Many women despair that their husband never helps with the housework. But a German woman has divorced her husband because she was fed up with him cleaning all the time.

German media have reported the wife got through 15 years of marriage putting up with the man’s penchant for doing household chores, tidying up and rearranging the furniture.

But she ran out of patience when he knocked down and rebuilt a wall at their home when it got dirty, Christian Kropp, court judge in the central town of Sondershausen, said on Thursday.

‘I’d never had anyone seek a divorce for this,’ he said. “

Can petty issue like this break marriage couples in our country? What do you think?

Where do you take your children on the weekends? Roam the malls and then treat them at fast food restaurants? If that’s what you have always done then you’re purposely shortening your children life. Most of the fast food restaurants use processed meats which were associated with higher risk of causing cancer and cardiovascular diseases.

Part of the news from reuters.com;
People who eat the most red meat and the most processed meat have the highest overall risk of death from all causes, including heart disease and cancer, U.S. researchers reported on Monday.

“Red and processed meat intakes were associated with modest increases in total mortality, cancer mortality, and cardiovascular disease mortality,” Sinha and colleagues wrote in the Archives of Internal Medicine.

They divided the volunteers into five groups, called quintiles. Between 1995 and 2005, 47,976 men and 23,276 women died.

The quintile who ate the most red meat had a higher risk for overall death, death from heart disease and cancer than the men and women who ate the least red meat.

The researchers said thousands of deaths could be prevented if people simply ate less meat.
.
.
.
Many studies have shown that people who eat less meat are healthier in many ways, and Sinha’s team noted that meat contains several cancer-causing chemicals, as well as the unhealthiest forms of fat.

Just dump these kind of food from your outing menu. Consume more vegetables and grains, do some exercise weekly and stay healthy.

May be this is what some women like to read “Two young women frustrated with their husbands” sexual promiscuity decided to teach their partners a painful lesson – by slicing off their manhood“.

Guys, if you have the desire to date another woman just remember this incident, but if you insist then make sure you are able to conceal your act wisely. I don’t want to read the same news but of Malaysian version.

Here’s the full news from nst.com.my:

Two young women frustrated with their husbands” sexual promiscuity decided to teach their partners a painful lesson — by slicing off their manhood.
One of the women, a 39-year-old from Katihar district in Bihar state, unable to cope with her husband’’s persistent illicit affair with another woman from the same village, admonished her husband several times but blew her top when she caught him in the act with his ex-beau in the family bedroom.

After a morning quarrel last week, the wife decided to settle her vengeance by trying to slice off Singh’s private organ using a sharp blade.

“It was a domestic dispute and a case was reported on the woman. She is out on bail and living with her parents now. She had attacked her husband using a sharp object; he suffered minor injuries and is fit now,” Katihar superintendent of police Anil Kishore Yadav told Bernama.

Villagers had rushed the husband, in his 30s and a peon at a local school, to a nearby hospital where doctors managed to save him from any worse trauma.
But the anger on infidelity reached a peak and was far scarier in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, where another fuming wife chopped off her husband’s manhood early this month after discovering that he was having sexual relations with other women.

In a well-planned revenge, the 35-year-old wife from Amraiwadi district lured her unfaithful husband to bed after sedating him during dinner.

Thinking he was in for a nice bondage sexual rendezvous, the excited 30-year-old husband, got into bed where the wife tied both his hands and legs to the bed using ropes. In a fit of rage, she cut off his penis using a sharp knife.

“She had nicely planned the whole attack after she caught her husband doing it with his ex-woman. She gave him some sedation and tied his limbs and hands to the bed. Once he got excited, she chopped off his organ.

“The organ was completely cut off and they brought it in two pieces. Doctors did some skin grafting but could not reconnect it. It was badly cut and he can”t function,” Dr Gautam Sharma, assistant administrator at the Civil Hospital in Amraiwadi, where the victim was treated, told Bernama.

Police detained the woman for questioning and the husband was discharged from hospital.

Scotland Yard has always been regarded as the best police department in the world. Many people especially from the third world countries always tried to compare their police department with the Scotland Yard in terms of personnel efficacy and integrity.

Many a times I came accrossed comments in Malaysian blogs that suggested the Malaysian government to seek the help from Scotland Yard to solve high profile cases that is plaguing us. However with the news of Scotland Yard police abused that surfaced today these people need to rethink their suggestions. The inaction of the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) in taking proper and effective action to resolve this case long ago is even more surprising.

“A young man who had sex with three blow-up dolls and ripped them apart with his teeth after breaking-in to a sex shop has blamed drugs for his bizarre behaviour.

Adam Rosberg pleaded guilty to two break-ins at the Laneway Adult Shop in Cairns, Australia, in late December. Magistrates heard he stole three rubber dolls from the adult shop as well as bottles of lubricant, magazines and other items, before taking the dolls outside to have sex with them.

Rosberg was handed 15 months’ probation for his off-beat sex crimes yesterday and told to behave himself in future. He was ordered to pay £50 to the sex store for damage to walls and lock.”
