The countdown to 26 August 2008, the day for Permatang Pauh Parlimentary (P44) by-election begins today. Four candidates fromĀ BN, PKR, AKIM and one independent party filed their nominations today. The independent candidate who was acting as a PKR backup candidate later pulled out and it will be a three-way fight.
Whether PKR defacto leader DS Anwar Ibrahim will win with a big landslide or a smaller majority compared to DS Wan Azizah when she retained the seat in March 8 is something for all Malaysians to mulls and speculate.
Ten days to the polling day will be full of promises and pledges from the candidates when they rally Permatang Pauh voters.
